  Abilene's resident musical curmudgeon, Happy Fat has been wielding his guitars for more than 40 years.  Not only is he one of the best blues guitarist around, he also plays a mean slide guitar, bass guitar, and has been known to play a little slide bass gitar.  Mix all that with his great vocals, and you got a lot of talent on one stage.  
      Happy recently stated that although he has shared the stage with some great musicians in the past,  he is having the time of his life with his two best friends with him on stage now.  He says it's very Zen-like.   If you have never heard the HAPPY FAT BAND, you should catch a gig. You'll like it.
